I have been out of the sex game for a few years for several life reasons. I love those lume commercials, female doctor develops needed product and is blowing up. Great American story. But only recently did I it click in my head the oral sex aspect. Now dove has the whole body commercial with the my neck, my back, my you know the resod song playing in the background . What took so long?
There is a reason this market is blowing up. It really is Think about how many whole body deodorant commercials you see
I don't know the type of women ya'll be around, the ones I know have never needed it. Perhaps better hygiene is a better concept.
I think it's ridiculous to claim proper women never have this issue in a sexual context Edit! Proper or educated or whatever tf
I'm just saying, the women I've been around have never had that problem. Honestly, I only know one who did waaaay back in the day when I was in high school and she was not someone I hooked up with. Then again, I'm not a gynecologist or Ron Jeremy's so I can't claim true expertise. Just my personal experience.
I know all women like all men aren't the same. Woman goes to work, goes to happy hour a couple of hours to celebrate something with friends comes home to significant other is a little tipsy, wants it now after 13 hours of being out, does proper hygiene make this scenario better? I really don't know
This CNN article says why products are so popular, what the lume founder claims, the anti bacterial ingredient is the key So apparently it does more than old school proper hygiene
Another CBS article about the science and her patent what she was seeing in her practice that led to the product
All I know is I hate when commercials for this and similar products come on when I'm eating. The timing is uncanny.
/shrug After reading about it, I don’t know why I would. My wife takes care of her own hygiene. I don’t stop and say ‘oh darling what product do you put on your sweet nether regions to make it not smell’ I block ads and pay for premium streaming that I use and usually don’t consume media that has commercials. If I’m watching something that does have ads I either mute it, get up and do something for a minute or look at my phone. Algorithms wouldn’t target me for female hygiene articles or ads (if I didn’t block them). TLDR; I’m a dude.
It's not algorithms, it's standard television advertising. Just a lot of commercials. These full body deodorants are the latest rage
