Diminishing the weapons and nuclear supply of an unstable, theocratic death to democracy government is something we need for our quality of life to continue. Nothing about radical Islam is pro life. Khomeini is the Hitler liberals keep talking about and the citizens of Iran know this.

If Khomeini falls, Iran is going to be run by the IRGC. And the fatwa against using nuclear weapons goes with him. Change is rarely for the better in Iran.

It's a flawed argument. Iran has a large but incredibly poorly trained and poorly equipped army. They know this. All their strength lie in their ballistic missiles, which they are firing into Israeli residential areas.



They are never going to be able to defend themselves in the surgical and precise way Israel does. They will fire at will and not achieve anything other than civilian deaths. Which is exactly why they or any Islamic extremist state can't have nuclear capability. A big worry is once Iran has nuclear, other ME countries will have to get nuclear to out of fear. Saudi, Qatar, UAE and then you'll have rogue terrorist groups eyeing those sites etc. A slippery slope you want to front run
