https://www.dallasobserver.com/news...-rangers-savior-debuted-50-years-ago-16948371 "David Clyde was 18 years and 36 days old when the Texas Rangers first burdened, then exploited him as the savior of their struggling franchise. Cash-strapped and flirting with bankruptcy, the Rangers trotted Clyde out to their Major League Baseball pitching mound on June 27, 1973, with the weight of the organization on his electric left arm." And this WAS the general consensus at that time, whether true or not. I REMEMBER IT. ps It's sad that a fifty year old memory is more reliable than a fifty minute old memory.
I'll have to check that out, I love mushrooms and mushroom broth for culinary purposes, so I see no reason why I wouldn't like that
Really weird season for me so far but I’m satisfied with the record. You could argue the rotation has been very suspect outside of Framber and Hunter but they’re doing enough to hand it over to an absolutely elite bullpen so far. The lineup on paper has been looking very subpar recently, but you have to factor in Diaz, Walker, Altuve have been playing below their potential and could turn it around, plus the looming return of Alvarez. Smith or Melton/Dezenzo improving could also provide a huge boost. Think they’re overachieving, but definitely have untapped potential.
