If you extend him, it's either an immediate S&T or you can't trade him until December. If it's a S&T, the team he goes to is hard capped at the 1A. Makes it real hard to send him to PHX unless they cut salary elsewhere. (I don't know if using the stretch provision on Beal is enough).
I'd move on if this is the price. The Rockets are still holding all of their picks. No way they're getting anywhere close to that. That second apron financial pressure will start to build too. The Suns don't have much leverage

I suspect the deal is centered around Gobert and Dillingham like what has been reported. And I’m sure the wolves are willing to add draft pick compensation on top of it. Since much of this is about what Phoenix wants, their desire for a center, young prospect, and draft capital can all be met. If they really like Dillingham then Phoenix is gonna take Minny’s deal.

But the 4th game was going on when this was posted. So it seems to me it is still outdated at least by a few days. Odds like this can change multiple times in a day.
