Judge issues a temporary ruling against Trump 2.0 using the National Guard in LA

The order requires Trump to return control of the National Guard to California Gov. Gavin Newsom by noon Friday (Pacific Time).

In a hearing Thursday, District Judge Charles Breyer rejected an argument by the administration's lawyer that the courts do not have authority to review a president's decision on whether the National Guard is needed.

"That's the difference between a constitutional government and King George. It's not that the leader can simply say something and then it becomes it," the judge said.

U.S. District Judge Charles Breyer said that the unrest in Los Angeles falls “far short of ‘rebellion.'”

“While Defendants have pointed to several instances of violence, they have not identified a violent, armed, organized,
open and avowed uprising against the government as a whole,” he wrote. “The definition of rebellion is unmet.”

the 78-yr old dotard just gave his convenient / rhetorics the significant finger,
effectively another variation of TACO, Trump Again Chickening Out

Trump vows changes to immigration crackdown to
protect :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: migrant farmers, hotel workers

"Our farmers are being hurt badly," Trump said during an event in the White House East Room when asked
about his position. "You know, they have very good workers. They've worked for them for 20 years.
They're not citizens, but they've turned out to be, you know, great."

Lawmaker Jayapal captures the essence of this TACO tactic

Yes, Trump is throwing in the towel on deporting millions. Turns out that Americans really do need all those immigrants to do those jobs Americans don’t want to do. Picking fruit, cleaning motel rooms and working in meat processing plants etc etc.

I guess Trump now wants to do what Dems have been pushing for for years. A path forward that enables these immigrants to continue to live and work in America. He’s been demonizing these people for years, now they are suddenly needed.

This is really gonna get Trump's toxic blood boiling.....

Gavin Newsom gave his thoughts about the parade on Thursday and they're going viral:

"It's a vulgar display. It's the kind of thing you see with Kim Jong-un, you see it with Putin, you see with dictators around the world that are weak and just want to demonstrate strength. Weakness masquerading as strength. To fete the dear leader on his birthday? What an embarrassment." he said. "Honestly, that's about as small as it gets."

"How weak, how weak do you have to be to commandeer the military to fete you on your birthday in a vulgar display of weakness? That's Donald Trump."

Since Trump loves the village people so much, someone needs to make Taco Man to the music of Macho Man.
Taco, Taco man. I've got to be a taco man

I just looked up the lyrics. You barely need to change the second verse.

    [Verse 2]
You can tell a macho, he has a funky walk
His western shirts and leather, always look so boss
Funky with his body, he's a king
Call him Mister Ego, dig his chains
You can best believe that he's a macho man
He likes to be the leader, he never dresses grand

Or a Taco song to YMCA

    T, A, C, O
Of course they are. That's what's so hypocritical about that lying creep. Mr. Do as I Say, Not As I Do.
I need them, so now I will lift deportations.
