Ok, I'm smarter than the average bear. However, I've not seen this type of visual. Is this true?!? What is life?! What is the counter argument to this net rating metric? I am a JG fan; I see the flaws, but this shows he may only have flaws.

We gonna give up Jalen & Jabari. FVV and KD will miss 20+ each as they always do. Tari will have some weird lingering injury and we won't even make the playoffs

Feels like we take the most risk while making Suns better over the long haul. Doesn't feel right

It is true, yeah. I didn't compile these graphs, but I went on NBA.com stats and verified enough of the numbers to determine that it is indeed true.

Someone on reddit made graphs for all of our top players, it is very interesting stuff.

The most glaring thing is how absolutely negative Jalen Green is. But some other stuff jumps out as well, such as how positive each of Sengun and Adams are, and some worrying numbers on Dillon.

I hate these kinds of graphics that don't really adjust for who is on the floor on the other side, injuries, rotations etc.

I don't doubt that Green is an inefficient player, but because Tari and Adams and Sengun once went on a 19-0 run against the Pelicans or somethign while Green was on the bench doesn't mean you can win with that lineup as a starting lineup.

But Jalen is only 22 years old he is still young and learning. Lets give him until he is 35 to see him fully develop.

Like I said, I'm not comparing Jalen to those two.

Just pointing out that it takes time to judge what a player can really do and his potential in this league.

We need to give Jalen 2-3 more years before we decide if we need to move on from him. You just don't give away a guy who's capable of exploding for over 30pts every night.

Getting blitzed by defenses is something new to him and he needs to learn how to beat it.

It also helps our team when he's capable of attracting that type of defense...our organization just needs to surround him or be better prepared at making opposing defenses pay when he gets blitzed.

I think reminiscing someone's career and legacy is something else than critiquing his growth......

It is more or less he could achieve way more but only achieved so much......or so little depending on the angle.

His golden years should be the Next 5 Years so would be his payday.

I don't think he is ready at all therefore the whole negativity but sure there is also hope.

Already turned 23 this year, breh.....

I don’t see the point in keeping Jalen if we’re acquiring Durant…KD makes Jalen irrelevant as he could become as low as the #4 option behind KD, Sengun, and Amen if he takes another leap while making 35 mil/yr on average

I’d rather keep role player Jabari over role player Jalen Green as what Jabari provides would be more useful IMO

Two top 3 picks traded for two years of KD is a colossal failure.

Every single other player in our rotation, without exception, is much better when Jalen is not on the court. No one else's chart looks anything like this (though, Dillon's isn't very good either, but no where NEAR as bad as Jalen's)

This is not a small sample size either. This is 82 games of data.

...I guess you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make em drink....

Jabari can just stand at the 3 point line and only play defense and he's useful. He's actually less effective when he tries to do more

Every rotation player was more effective without Jalen than with him. No one else performed better when he's on the floor compared to when he's off. He is the anti-Battier for people who remembered those Rockets days.

Not a single person is bashing Jalen because he's not taking the Rockets to a championship in his age 23 season. So pointing out the Jordan didn't win a title at 23 is absolutely useless information.

Ok, bashing and wanting to trade him at 23 for a 37 year old isn't the same?

Jabari showed me something during the playoffs and he has a skillset you absolutely cannot send out in a KD trade. When KD gets injured, he'd be one of the few left who can make a shot. Also, if KD gest doubled, it's not going to be from Sengun or Amen's defender so there's a good chance Jabari will get open looks when he does play with KD. Plus defense and rebounding.

LEBRON is a significantly better stat if this is what you are trying to achieve imo.
