In fairness, the Suns traded 4 first round picks PLUS Bridges and Johnson. Nets selected Clowney in 2023, we're picking 10th this year and 2 of those picks are yet to convey. They cashed in a LOT of youth for KD. We could potentially get him by just giving back 27 and 29 picks (ie not sacrificing any of our own picks) and salary matching. Or by offering a playable talent (ie Jalen Green) plus salary matching (Landale?). OR by offering 2 young talents, but still having 5 remain (plus our picks and theirs) It's a different scenario because KD is so much older, and PHX only have so many options to improve their team
