[Official] White Sox @ Astros

White Sox have been a pain in our ass since ‘05. Makes no sense.

 

I went to the game and Christian Walker didnt look even close to a GG 1st basemen… .Tauchmen’s double down the 1st base line in the 3rd made Walker look like a deer in headlights….then the Sox scored 3 runs.

 

Well at least the Mariners suck too

 

So forget Seattle, their pitching is trash (era hovering around 4). The offense is possible more anemic that last year.

The Rangers are our worry. Excellent pitching (question is can they stay healthy, specifically DeGrom/Eovaldi). Their bats were hideous without Seager. He has given them a lift now that he's back, but still wildly inconsistent. If the offense can generate 4.5 runs a game moving forward, they'll get to 90 wins.

 

He has gone from the best defensive 1st basemen in the league to one of the worst. He isn’t moving right and is apprehensive. Something is off. He is either playing in pain, masking an injury or his motor skills have declined.

 

13-21 in the last 34 games averaging less than 3.5 runs per game during that time.

 

GO. GET. A. BAT. NOW… and then focus on a starting pitcher at the deadline.

The bat can even be a DH or outfielder if the bat is good.

Go get Ozuna.

Make some phone calls.

 

Huh...reminds me of that recent old ass 1B they signed. Same ass excuses for the poor performance in the first year...and 2nd. I figured they'll learn after that, but I guess not.

Well, that was a crappy loss, we seem to play down to the teams that we should beat. I have no clue what is wrong with Walker but something is clearly wrong, I had high hopes for him but now I wonder if were cursed at 1B..................that was just ugly last night

 

I would be very interested to see what our record is vs. teams over .500 and teams under .500, but I'm too lazy to do it.

 

Walker went 1-3 with a bb last night. Yes he **** the bed in the clutch but if he posts an 800 ops every game all would be good.

 

I know it's not probably the case, but I find Walker's low-key demeanor (barely alive) irritating. Throw your bat, yell at somebody, argue with the umpire, etc. Give the appearance that you actually are pissed off at your under-achieving self.

 

Walker needs to be dropped to 7th or 8th in the lineup.
Either that or send him down to Florida to work with baggie lol

 

You mean he’s like Bregman after 2019?

 

But we didn't have to worry about Bregman struggling against The Mendoza Line.
