There are maybe 5 players in the league I could be talked into trading Amen for(and I’d still be reluctant). 37 yr old Kevin Durant doesn’t even come close to that list.
Amen is a nice player but Steven Adams opened up so much for Amen. No Steven Adams next year. No Amen as we saw him. Dude will be a shell of himself if all he can do is get within 6 feet of the rim...and has a hard time getting within 6 feet of the rim. .
I think the under the radar move could be Darius Garland. Yet I suppose they do nothing and just draft a movement shooter good off the bench.
Maybe you should clear the s### from your eyes. You might find out Durant is still top 5 in this league. Here is Durant highlights this year, tell who is stopping Durant one on one? Teams still use two or three players to try to stop him. And he still shoots over them.
No, I said he will minimally improve this year. I think his shooting will increase by a few percentage points and his turnovers will drop a bit. But he won't be an all-star or anything like that.

Amen Thompson would absolutely destroy KD one on one now. Injuries always stop KD. This isn't prime KD. This old broken KD can't guard anyone. Dude the team you built plays no defense. Once KD inevitably gets hurt we are royally screwed. Amen Thompson does fine with or without Adams. I dunno what game you are watching.
We acquire Durant and/or Brook Lopez. Otherwise we're standing pat. I think people criticizing the backcourt are stuck in a tiny window. The team unfortunately loves FVV and fortunately loves Jalen. It's comical to think they're thinking of trading the only player on the whole roster who has ever in their career been double teamed in the playoffs.

Durant is under contract for the year but looks like he can play well for 3 seasons. He is out there playing b-ball almost every day in the summer. Running pickup games with Jalen Green and others. He is basketball junkie. We could more than likely get him to re-sign for another two yrs. Cam Whitmore and Tari will be more developed. Cameron Johnson can run out his current contract.....making room for Whitmore or Tari. People need to get use to these contract numbers. Saw a video the other day saying Phoenix is prepping to sgn Booker to an extension.....making him the first 70M to $75M player per season. I've posted his defensive numbers and showed how Jalen Green defensive numbers were better. Green has better FG% near the rim. Jalen had a better 3P% than Booker. Not sure how you feel about VanVleet making $45M but that makes me sick. Durant is 100X's better. Amen was barely making 10 points per game until Udoka started playing the double big lineup. Ended up averaging 14 points per game. Without Adams he will go back down to 10 points a game. I would rather use VanVleet and Reed Sheppard but it didn't work on Fanspo trade machine. Rockets would have to give the Suns $300K plus; but I believe they can only give about $200K. Yes Rodman and Ben Wallace DOPY candidates like Amen are good players......a top 5 player in the league is better. Rockets need to win now and Durant helps us win now vs Amen later. Rockets have to get better outside shooting. A mix of offense with defense. Sorry you feel that way, I would probably stop watching the Rockets if they traded Jalen Green. Because I know Jalen would go to a team with 3-point shooters and no paint clogging Center and start tearing up this league. Fact is with Durant and Cameron Johnson in the starting lineup, Jalen Green could be a 30 to 34 points per game player. Green would have open lanes to the rim and the refs would be forced to call the fouls because they would be so obvious.
FVV should only get 2 yrs 20 M at the max. Amen is the best defender on the team, and he can get better on offense. I doubt if he can become a star, but he is valuable.
