if bs Bill Simmons knows of what he speaks, bs Bill sez a deal is in place where neither J is in a KD deal. Just Spurs.*

*Hmm, KD may be old enough to be several of those putative mates’ daddies…

KD has always made more sense than Giannis. Regardless of his age, he is still one of the better shooters in the league.

Personally I would take out both picks and make that final offer or switch JG for FVV.

I'd be good with this deal as structured. I just wish it would have happened 6 months ago.

This trade doesn't make sense from the Suns side. Jalen shares the same position as both Booker and Beal. Even if they get rid of Beal somehow, they would still need to play Booker off-position cause we all know Jalen is a strict 2-guard. If the Suns are trading KD and retooling around Booker, then the trade would be something like a S&T FVV, one of Jabari or Tari, maybe Cam and/or Jock for salary matching, and the #10 pick so the Suns can have 3 players they can put around Booker.

Not only that I think people trying to offload Jalen for Durant will be upset when Durant likely wants to play "with" Jalen, as they workout together in the summers. Green makes zero sense for the suns, only way to make it work is a 3 way deal where green goes to team x and sends player y.

Personally I would just love the upgrade from fred to durant, but the team values fred much more than us it seems

KD will want to play with JG, Amen, and Alpi maybe even Jabari.

Jalen is likely the main salary piece going out in a KD trade. I just don’t agree with that. It’s unlikely FVV

I would do this deal in a heartbeat.

However I think it's going to be a 3 team deal.

With Stone shipping Green somewhere for a pick or 2 and those picks being added to this Rockets/Suns deal.

That’s for the Suns to figure out. ;) If they accept it, why do I care?

Not like they’re getting a big man from the Spurs. More guards. Vassell or Johnson and (forward) Barnes.

Yes, they are up for extensions but I’m not giving up Jabari or Tari for one/two years of 37 year old Durant. Hell, the more I think about it, wait, I’m giving up the 10th pick for 37 year old Durant?! (And some proposals include another future first?!)

If they want a specific position or specific guy, then they’ll look elsewhere.

    Wolves: Randle?
Knicks: Bridges back to Phoenix? Anunoby?
    Heat: Wiggins?

Or they’ll just accept the Spurs poo-poo platter, ok whatever?!

Just because they summer together doesn't mean he thinks he'd be a good teammate. He's seen the same Jalen we have where it counts.

It's still a good callout though. He might prefer playing with Jalen... I just don't think we can be sure about that.

y’all gonna be very disappointed when Jalen’s not traded and gives us his usual performance for the 5th year in a row while making 35 mil/yr instead of peanuts

I know everyone hates Jalen and is super down on him. Hes obviously not a #1 guy, but imo, he would slot very well as the #3 guy behind Durant and Sengun.

But none the less, durant will may or may not have any say in the matter but I imagine any trade will involve talks of an extension with durant and his input. but that is just my "opinion" on the matter and I am by no means an expert.

With today’s “more definitive” comments from Giannis focused on “getting Bucks back to The Finals” (though such comments could be made to make media stop asking until he’s ready to request a trade), expect the KD market to heat up w/ more interested parties than there may have been 24hrs ago.

Man I just don't see him really wanting the Spurs. All this seems like Suns trying to pressure Rockets to giving up more picks

    Amico is trash.

Could well be true, but Amico is not a reputable reporter.

    Im offering Brooks/Landale/Holiday/Cam/#10.

I don’t necessarily trust that the shooting from Brooks will continue and I thought that he was pretty much useless in the playoffs.

Green May have a lower trade value right now, coming off of the playoffs, but in the regular season, he played well enough to say where I thought he was improved.

I’m willing to see how he does until February and maybe even make the investment of giving him another post season. I am also hoping that as we evolve, he is more of a third option.

Word is the spurs are willing to put the 14th pick in a deal for KD. If they offer 14 and vassell KD will be a spur.
