And the reason Cas got a decent return. NE was famous for trading stars a few years early to maximize return and adjust salary structure. Cas worked his magic here.
Well before I tried to learn about the NFL salary cap but it always got to me because the player they trade away always sucked either after a year or immediately. I was thought, "How did they know?" This is why I wasn't mad at the Hopkins trade. Just the return. Hop had one great season after leaving us. Sorry to bring that back up
From ESPN: Laremy Tunsil, OT Status: Skipped voluntary OTA practices Washington acquired Tunsil in a March trade, and he has shown up to some of the voluntary offseason work. But he often missed voluntary work while playing in Houston, so it wasn't a big surprise that he did not attend Washington's first OTA practices. His presence would help, considering he's with a new group and there's a good chance he'll be playing next to Brandon Coleman, who is not only a new teammate but also new to left guard in the NFL. But Tunsil's track record of in-season success will alleviate concerns. -- John Keim
His track record is False starts and Illegal Procedure Penalties which hurt his team, but not his STATS.
Lol, "hopium" is high in DC! After hearing CJ call Tunsil a "Vet's vet" I'm even more glad that this move was made.
We're going to get to see what Tunsil is all about with better talent around him on the Redskins. I'll bet he plays very well next season.
