Arrighetti, Javier, Garcia - are 3 quality starters still scheduled to come back this year.

Projection systems now have both Gordon and Walter pegged as 2+ WAR full season SPs. Would be wild if the Astros found another pair of good SPs to replace Blanco and Wesneski after all of the churn they have had to endure over the past few years with injuries.

Scheduled to come back this year, does not mean that any of them are going to come back this year.

It would beggar belief if Arighetti isn't back this year. That said, yeah, uhm, this team.

Mariners are being shown on FS1 if anyone is bored on an off day. Go D-Backs

Jorge Polanco has batted .163 since the end of April.

He is the cleanup hitter for Seattle tonight.

Holy **** the DBacks third base coach is dumber than ours...luckily Perdomo ran through it but don't think I've ever seen a worse stop sign from a 3B coach

I'm trying to figure out what is wrong with Jalen Beeks?

    This Arizona manager is baffling.

Mariners lucky AF...dude pitching the 9th was throwing 100+ mph gas and struck out the first two batters in the 9th. Then he blows out his shoulder and the scrub that replaced him fresh up from AAA blows a 4 run lead all with 2 outs. Just kept throwing absolute meatball after meatball

Thank God the Dbacks won on a walk off grand salami from Naylor.

Seattle 13-20 after their smoke and mirrors 20-12 start.

I will repeat, this Seattle team does not have the starting pitching like last year to survive such an anemic offense. They will finish under .500.

This moron had Perdomo batting 9th just 2 weeks ago with a RBI pace projected to well over 130. I think he finally stopped doing that.

Hot take: Not re-signing Verlander to be our 4th/5th starter was a mistake. Depending on the rookie brigade to hold things over (and starting the service time clocks for some of these folks) is not sustainable.
