Exactly, and that is why the case that was cited has nothing to do with the facts Lil Pun presented.

I'm a Kerry supporter and everything, but I don't understand why someone would be upset about this? I mean...???

endorsements are fine but they belong on the op/ed page not on the plastic wrapper. just like they don't belong on the sports section, the weather page or the obituaries or anywhere other than the op/ed page.

It appears from the description to be an advertisement rather than an endorsement, though a rather carelessly made one. To cover themselves, at least ethically to avoid confusing its readers, the paper should have included a notice that said "does not necessarily reflect the views of [paper]", but whatever.

memo huh, [did I ask this already?] where do you go to school? I have memo due that is a "secret final memo", we're not allowed to talk to anyone about it. The topic is so broad I want to scream.

would this be under Finance reform
this would be like printing a bunch of leaflets
doesn't that cost have to be reported to someone

it is more tha free speech it is like giving money
in the terms of service and distribution of them

    1. can your boss force u to deliver political messages without your official consent
    2. Can you offer free services to candidate [i.e. can Fox news give bush a 2 hour time slot for free? without giving kerry equal time]
    3. I the monopoly the Chronicle has in houston is the most illegal thing anyway

Al Jazeera tells the truth more often than FOX News does.

Interesting statement, but how do we measure and quantify that?...Or is this a speculative hunch?
