I've been thinking about the CBA stuff, a lot of people keep saying it's a huge problem. Personally, I love the parity it's created and I think an OKC/Indiana finals rules. Really just think I'd go with two fixes -It's high time for expansion. The league is extremely talented and I think there just isn't enough slots for talented players. Two more teams would alleviate some of that pressure. Seattle and Vegas are probably the two obvious points but KC should be in the mix. -Fix the supermax, it's insane that teams are basically punished for their homegrown talent getting too good. That the Mavericks were having trouble deciding whether to pay it to Luka should have been a wake up call. There should be a clause that if you drafted the player or if you have had the player for 5+ years (call that super bird rights or something, or name it Luka rights) that you can get paid like a supermax but only count as a regular max against the cap With point 2, how trades work gets complicated. I think potentially in a trade the salary should kick up to the actual supermax, but there's probably a better way to work it out.
Big guys with foot/ankle problems. Who woulda thought? I do think Wemby has a chance not to suffer the same fate, unless he overdoes the training and gets too heavy.
With Taytum out next season, this would be the season to get anything repaired that has been put to the side. Celtics aren't contending next year anyways, especially with them looking to offload talent due to the apron.
PJ Tucker on Wednesday posted a message on social media to address any rumors about him retiring. The 40-year-old posted on his Instagram Story that he will not be retiring and that he plans to continue playing. “Since we are in the era of not doing any fact checking and just repost what we hear from uncredited sources smfh i (sic) have to take time out of my vacation to set the record straight so yall can stop sending me the dumb s-it!” Tucker wrote, profanity censored by LBS. “Never have a mentioned retirement or even given any indication that may be a thing.. I’m 40 years young 100% healthy, able, and will continue playing the game I’ve dedicated my lief to… HOOPIN!!!!!!” Source: Larry Brown Sports
