Lol okay. I'm glad you have come to the conclusion with your self that if you where in position that you would fire a teacher whom you have no idea of.

By the way, he wasn't scared of jade helm, he just thought it was a little suspicious of it and explained what the program was about to the class during a little off time (class of seniors not middle school students). But of course this small discussion, It trumps his 40 years of teaching and all of his qualifications, It trumps that he is by far the best and most favorited teacher in the school, and it completely trumps the other 99% of fantastic lectures and teachings he gives to his classes.

We are in agreement. His view on Jade Helm trumps everything else.

Personally, I'm more concerned about your English teacher.

I had a political science teacher show us an anti-Mormon propaganda film. I went to private school (Baptist) which explains it a little bit, but it was still strange to be showing that video in that class. That moment stood out at the time, but years later I remembered other things he had said and realized he was trying to "brainwash" us by passing off a lot of bull**** as fact.

I see what you mean, but again as I mentioned in my other post, the things my teacher taught were just solid fundamentals for life that. Nothing to take with a grain of salt, no brainwashing, just quality lectures and lessons to help the students in life.

And my English teacher was absolutely awful lmao, she was retiring this year and just totally gave up about the 2nd week of school, we watched like 5 different movies about 10 times a piece throughout the year.

I see we are moving goal posts here. It's not our fault that your initial post on the matter explicitly stated "FREAKED OUT" his students, not this casual suspicion you are now conveniently stating after our responses.

Which one was it? Did he freak out his class on some right wing nut propaganda about Obama taking over Texas or was it this casual 'suspicion' that you are now referring to?

If it was the former, then yes, his right wing nut propaganda to his students trumps his 40 years of 'good advice'.

ESPECIALLY if this teacher is as trusted as you claim; he holds a powerful bully pulpit over his students because of this 'trust' he as accumulated over the years and used this bully pulpit to espouse right wing propaganda which is even more morally reprehensible.

You kids hear about this Obama takeover of our state? Crazy, but... I don't know, seems like it's got some weight to it. Anyway, don't do drugs.

His casual suspicion freaked out the class. And when I say freaked out, I don't mean kids where hyperventilating and shaking, I was exaggerating.

None of this is as big of deal as you guys are making, i'm not moving goals lol, I don't have a goal.

Why is everyone going on about Nick's teacher? Nick's teacher doesn't even post here. Everything we know about him is second-hand and anyway irrelevant. Don't see why you're running down Nick for having a teacher with paranoid views.

Iphones are quite amazing. Electric cars. Advances in medicine... etc. etc. etc.

Human evolution still has a ways to go though. There are still a lot of dumb people in the world. Many times not because of a lack of access to education. Some of those people are even places of power. Bravo

    TL;DR

Is Jade Helm a p*rn star that Trump slept with?

I didn't realize it a the time of course, but it makes perfect sense in retrospect that it would have been a Russian misinformation campaign. However, I wonder about the source of this information. The source is Michael Hayden, and he probably knows stuff because he used to run the CIA and the NSA. But he retired in 2009, 6 years before Jade Helm. Is this an educated guess on his part, or does he know something specific?

On Abbott, did he call the National Guard because many people were concerned over fake news, or was the appearance of many people being concerned itself the fake news?

Obama being anti-American was all the rage among the hardcore base that ended up electing Trump years later. Regardless of what factors caused it, giving the appearance of being prepared to defend Texas from Obama was good for Abbot politically.

It's amazing really. All the shows were pushing this theory that Obama was going to declare martial law, cancel elections, etc. How do these people sleep at night?

We'll never know for sure because Abbott will never admit he was duped...but he was duped. This was an absolute successful test run for Rickets Legend and his friends. The idiocy of those on the right that fell for this, Abbott and Dan Patrick at the top of that list, is to blame for what the Russians did in 2016. Had they not been so over-the-moon stupid, there's at least the chance that the Russians rethink their strategy.

They didn't FALL for it. You think Abbott fell for anything here other than political success? You think Dan Patrick even cares about any of it other than political success?

Greg Abbott was seen as an establishment schmuck that was almost certainly going to get challenged by someone like Dan Patrick. Today he's a Trumpkin.

They didn't fall for anything. They capitalized on an opportunity presented to them to embrace the fringe.
