Not really. There are only a certain number of players worth 50 million. It one thing to be flawed and make 30 million it's another to take up 1/3 the cap and be flawed. Notice how the teams in the finals this year don't really have that 50 million a year player

Please help me understand which area Alpi is better at shooting from?
Giannis is better (objectively) from every area. And yes, he needs shooters around him. But that isn't the point under discussion.

Does Giannis improve spacing compared to Alpy?
    Simple yes.

There may be 100 other reasons to be discussed, please don't pigeon-hole me into one of them, I am making (already made) a simple point.

If shutting down Giannis is as simple as leaving him wide open (it isn't, his numbers are great from most places on the court that aren't the 3) then how does he average 30? Y'all just talk bullshit to prop up Sengun at this point.

I don't know specifically about shooting form but Alpe has the advantage of turning pro very early almost as early as Luka ....

And he has been training to shoot I think ever since, at least far earlier than Giannis.

Is it a guarantee, nope, but it still is an advantage over Giannis who was still pretty poor and touched a basketball pretty late in his teenage years.

He is much younger and has all time in the world to turn it around.

Alpi has a higher 3 point % and free throw percentage. But either way you missed my point. My point is it doesn't matter if he's better at shooting or not. They both suck at it. So no one is going to respect either of their shots.

It's not about being perfect. Jokic for example I would pay 50 million to and think we could win. He has no weakness offensively and can score from everywhere. Besides him no one anymore.

prime Bron and prime KD were up there. But now they just old.

No Jabari isn’t the answer at 5. Only for small ball lineups. As I said Turner would be great. Lopez and Horford available. Dunno how much they have left. Bryant is lower end option.

Bryant? As in Thomas Bryant? Have you watched him?

Because not all situations require a zone. Rockets used double big lineup 2-3 zone to take away the dribble drive and gives us advantage on def reb.

Sengun has had issues in the past with guys like Randle, Aaron Gordon, Naz Reid or AD. Guys that can dribble drive but can also shoot 3’s and have strength.

Giannis can shoot 15 ft and beyond. This means FT line and elbows and a few feet out. His attack is quicker than Sengun. He drives like a guard from the wings or top of the key. He runs full court or faces up at the elbows and attack. He catches lobs. He can work in the short corner or dunkers spot when others ISO. He also is a great playmaker from the dribble drive passing to shooters. He is a better passer than Sengun.

Yes I have. I said lower end option. Not my first choice but a filler if Rockets need a 5. He is a stretch 5. He can be a deterrent in the paint. Serviceable player

Hahahahah Alpi is now worth a guy who can't stay on the end of the bench for a single team.

The very bottom end of Clutchfans never ceases to amaze me.

You obviously have reading comprehension issues this is not new. Something is wrong with your brain. No one said trade him for Sengun. The discussion is about Giannis. Please read every single word before making a fool of yourself.

Sengun is a fine player with room to grow. He may not evolve into a no. 1 but he can definitely become a Pau Gasol level player and be a clear no. 2 on a championship squad.

Absurd overreaction to a series loss where rockets were the underdogs and lost in a game 7. Young team, look forward to next year…

He’s a garbage individual that gets triggered and defensive if you talk about his precious Sengun then responds with insults.

I don't even remember that series well, only that it was 1-3 at one point and it got forced to 7.

I’ve seriously discussed Adebayo as an option, but I don’t know if he will become available. It’s a very unpopular opinion on this forum, but I would trade Sengun straight up for him, just because of fit.
