I'm waiting for this guy to start saying Michael Jordan's numbers didn't matter either because he was a ball hog
I massively underappreciated MJ because of this thought. So hate that we never got to face him in the finals, but oh well.
Drexler said he was better than Jordan but Jordan just shot more... too bad he never clubbed baby seals.
Portland wanted a big man so bad according to multiple sources heading into the 84 draft they offered Clyde and the #2 pick to the Rockets for Ralph, which would have left us picking 1st and 2nd, Akeem and Michael Lucas Michael Clyde Peterson Akeem Bench of Lew Lloyd, McCray, Reid
Great team. Petersen would probably get replaced pretty quickly. Good backup, especially at C. Of course, probably wouldn’t matter with akeem, clyde, and MJ. Also, Robert Reid and Allen Leavell would’ve taken over for coke boy.
I wouldn't focus on players playing time. I'd focus on players that have something to prove, that feels like every time out there he needs to prove his manager wrong, how does that not encourage some people to play better? It depends on the individual. Look at what happened to Chas since Dusty.
#1 on the list of Houston sports "couldabeens". I have no idea how serious the trade talks were, though. Peterson would not be the PF, they would have found some banger to start
Michael Clyde and Akeem could, and that would have been what really mattered Lucas/Lloyd/Wiggins really ruined what could have been great careers
NFL had their drug era in the 50's to 90's MLB had theirs from, basically the inception, until about 20 years ago NBA was a child of the 60's-90's
