Giannis Trade Package: Prioritizing a Picks or Players Package

If you look at who is winning now its clreally gonna be pacers vs okc unless NY pulls off a miracle. its the younger teams just a couple of years ahead of us. Im just gonna caution the Rockets not to trade youth looking for a home run player that wont get us farther than we already are and gives us a smaller window. If we get Giannis and he is not happy in a couple of years he will leave. this is a post of caution. dont go the lazy route.

Plus, how does Cam + Dillon + Landale ($30.1M) for Derrick White ($28.1) get the Celtics out of the 2nd apron? That's the part that didn't make sense. They are over by ~$20M.

The whole premise was based on the Celtics not worrying about the apron or luxury tax to get Giannis. I stated that in the first line. The whole thing was in response to Windhorst saying the Celtics were in play for Giannis. I put in 3 separate trades that would accomplish that and send Derrick White and Durant to us. I think your reading comprehension is a little weak.

 

If the trades don't work, they don't work = not allowed.

Reading comprehension means nothing when the whole thing won't work from jump.

People don't want to hear it, but Amen almost has to be in the deal, if both sides are serious. Giannis not a fit here, I don't see Rockets offering all the goods.

The Rockets aren't likely to play Sengun, Giannis, and Amen together. I suspect the Rockets would trade Sengun.

 

this is correct. If we get Giannis it will be with Sengun going out. There is no doubt in my mind that Amen is untouchable. He made 1st team all defense in the first year he actually got to start in a significant amount of games. He probably wins DPOY if he had been starting all year. Is Ime going to trade that kind of defensive savant?

 

One man’s Tsunami is another’s rain shower. About all they can do is KAT, Bridges and crap picks or Brunson and Hart and crap picks. Only way it happens is with a 3rd team or Giannis demands the Knicks.

 

Not only should the Bucks hold out for Amen, I also don't think those two can play together. They both need the ball and spacing would be horrible.

 

They can hold out all they want. The Rockets will not trade Amen.
