Watched a series on Prime that started on MGM and went 2 and half years that was cancelled called, "Get Shorty", recently. It has nothing to do with the movie from the 90s. Its just a really good crime, comedy that was a blend of Breaking Bad, Barry and the movie Birdman. Its a really good show that wont get its fair due imo.

So it got me thinking about other shows that shouldve never been cancelled cause the writing or directing was so good and here are some of them:

    Better off Ted- ABC comedy
    Southland- TNT cop drama
    Get Shorty- MGM/Prime
King Arthur- Guy Ritiche movie that was supposed to be a 6 film franchise
Man from UNCLE- another Guy Ritchie Movie that was supposed to have multiple films
    Dredd- Comic book movie

I really enjoyed Vinyl, a series on HBO that lasted 1 season.

Such a bummer because it took a lot of investment to stay with that show -- the ending was so intriguing I'll always wonder where they were going. That show was Twin Peaks on meth and acid.

Recency bias but I'm disappointed Wheel of Time was canceled just as it was hitting its stride.

Hannibal - great show with a perfect leading man.

Dracula - Jonathan Reys Meyers is amazing in it, never should have been on network television, and Meyers being permanently banned from air travel did not help.

Can't remember if I really liked that one or not...I remember being excited about it

eta: if HBO hadn't let them wrap things up (sort of, not ideal but it was something) with the movie, Deadwood would absolutely be on my list

Olivia Wilde, Bobby Cannavale, Ray Romano, that was a great trio in the cast there. I( felt they could have definitely expanded the storylines.

I would have liked a third season of HBO's Raised by Wolves ( if not to just close the story arc). Zasloff cut so many shows for budget reasons.

Budget was stupid high. They could have done it for 1/4 the cost. Bezos be making it rain.

Anyone ever catch the show Surface on NBC? It was about an emerging apex form of sea creature. Great show that was canceled after a season.

How about getting rid of the mediocre Rings of Power instead? That will save money and the show sucks badly.

If I had Bezos $, I’d buy Disney and fix the MCU and Star Wars and give Tron the attention and resources it deserves.

    You’re welcome.
