2025 EAST FINALS: (3) New York Knicks Vs. (4) Indiana Pacers

Super physical right out of the bat. This has been a great series tbh

 

The Pacers look like a soft team who's best player is soft. They threw the kitchen sink at the Knicks and got no separation in the 1st quarter.

If Mitchell Robinson continues to own Myles Turner on the offensive glass, this will definitely go back to MSG.

 

Throwing your knee into the jewels of the shot blocker is apparently a valid strategy

 

Pacers could easily be back in the finals again next year since the rest of the East is dead

Looks like it end for the Knicks tonight. And OKC will obliterate the Pacers. A sweep would not surprise me unless the NBA mettles which they probably will.

this feels like a college game. a lot of chaos and a lot of contact

 

The Pacers' substitution pattern leaves everyone fresh enough to play like an absolute maniac while they're on the floor. We had the personnel to play like this too but we didn't for some reason. I don't mind letting inferior players play for a bit if they're willing to expend every ounce of energy for every second they're on the floor.

 

That 3rd quarter was so unstable. Pacers up 16, then 9, then 16 again, more chaos and more TOs by both teams.

Pacers are 12 mins from the Finals. Maybe fatigue will catch up to the Knicks and make it easier for them or maybe the Knicks dig really deep and push this game down to the wire.

I'm starting to get nervous.

I agree. I think even Tate should play often 5 minutes a half. Those 10 min play lights out. A few hard fouls etc

I been saying this all season. We slow the tempo down too much. Rarely ever push it even though we have amen, jalen, tari, and bari who are really good in transition.

 

Fred and Sengun too fat and slow to play faster
