I only found out about Seattle losing when I saw we finally took over first place. I was stunned. I knew the score was 6-3 going to the 9th, that was the last I heard.
How do you go from "won't be swinging a bat for a while but will return in the "new future"? Does Dana believe his own bullsh*t? I find it hard to believe that modern imaging can 't find a fracture through swelling. 15 years ago I broke my shoulder (not collarbone but ball joint area), same week it occured I went to a specialist and they could see my break through the swelling. Agin, 15 years ago and I didn't go to as nice of a doctor as I am sure the Astros have, unless they are using some guy with an imaging device in the back of his van.
They're telling radio it's 100% soft tissue EDIT Nevrmind that's what they were saying yesterday morning. I just saw the update.
Might as well confess now... I take full responsibility for the 13-3 beat down on Thursday. Showed up a little late and they were already losing 1-0. Then I had to leave after the Altuve HR tied it up. I get in the car, turn the radio on, and the 7th inning disaster was in full swing. I should have stayed.
Altuve now needs to be the fulltime DH and Whitcomb at 2b and Dezenzo (McCullers) in Left. If 60% took a month, then the last 40% + rehab should take just about as long, so at least another month.
It’s highly unlikely Whitcomb or Dezenzo are going to be a better hitter than Caratini this season and that doesn’t even take into account he is our only lefty bat. He’s got to be in the lineup most days.
Astros own the division. Seattle knows this and they are sh**ing their pants just seeing us in the rearview mirror. We are the monkey on their back.
