No. VG is a better overall player than Tre. Tre can shoot efficiently and pass a bit. He can't put any pressure on the rim and he doesn't defend.
That would be interesting. All you would need then is on these future picks from the Suns/Mavs/Knicks to hit in the top 4 and then you could trade it for additional multiple 1st rounders. Repeat as needed!
I know what pick you want the Rockets (2) to trade up for! "Dylan Harper Compares His Game to Cade Cunningham, James Harden"
What exactly do you think you’re proving posting that? He averaged 9/3/3 in the regular season, 6/2/2 in the quarterfinals and 7/1/2 in the semifinals. If anyone else averaged those numbers you guys would have a fit but since you’ve convinced yourself he’s so great you’re overlooking what’s right in your face.
if he is a hidden star he should be there at 10. If you need to trade up from 10 how is he hidden? Dude would be a top 10 pick lol I would be disappointed in Stone if they trade up in this draft. After Flagg, Harper and maybe Johnson I dont see any huge diff in talent in 4-10.
Pretty much this. He's a MLE level player - not someone you blow your assets on to acquire. There's dozens of players like him that won't take too much to acquire.
meh, I don't know. Both VJ (raw, pure athleticism, not much of that fundamental, in-between offensive skill) and Tre (no defense) remind me of so many of Jalen Green's flaws that I want neither part of them.
We could also trade into last year's draft. That's some 4D galaxy brain stuff. Real trendsetting. We could trade #10 this year for #10 last year?! To the Jazz for Cody Williams.
Somewhere between picks 10-20 there will be a multi time all star. Just got to pick the right one. Did it once with Sengun already.
This is why taking multiple shots at mid range 1st round picks is still highly valuable. Donovan Mitchell was 13th pick in 2017. Bam was the next pick. Sabonis was 11th pick in 2016. Booker was 13 in 2015. Myles Turner was 11 in 2015, you get the point. But obviously more often than not, 10-20 picks are duds. We picked Sam Dekker with 18th pick that year in 2015.
Rockets hired a new head scout last year and his pick apparently was Sheppard. Still feel confident at number 10?
On a more positive note….I begged for Edey last year and was ignored. I begged for Cam the year before and was not ignored. I am begging for Egor this year and have a pretty good track record. He will end up being as good or better than Flagg. 6’10” point guard with Magic Johnson passing skills….are you kidding me???
10 - 60 Jokic was a 2nd Rd Manu Ginobili and Isaiah Thomas were the last picks in the draft. Anything is possible in the Draft.
I like Egor, and he can be a solid contributor. I wouldn't mind him in Rocket's red, and you can even sell me on trading up to get him. But better than Flagg? C'mon man! That's hard to get behind.
Kawhi Leonard and Giannis were 15th picks. Rockets lost on them both times. Traded the 14th pick away the Giannis pick away for James Harden trade. Giannis was really young Teen, very skinny.
