For sure, I would've thought it'd be in play (new approach) by now which is my reason for mentioning it. I can't hit 80 so I can't imagine trying to lay off 94-97 high but it glaringly obvious. Yea, I thought .240 27-35hrs .800 ops would be dynamite with the glove he has, plenty of games left though.....
Nah vibes are off. Dips*** fanbase booing pretty loud at home. I would be mad too if I made the playoffs once in 21 years then get swept by yours truly.
Mariners up 6-3 with 2 outs in the ninth… Lose 12-6 anyways. Their fan base and team is cursed. Astros back in number 1 for AL west
I accept. And I know you are a good fan also. Just because we disagree on Chas' ceiling and expectations doesn't mean we need to be at each other's throats. I hope Chas gets several opportunities soon and cones through. Unfortunately, I think somebody else like Meyers, Dezenzo, or Smith falling apart is the only way he gets a chance and I don't want to see that. I wish he was left handed because then he would get plenty of playing time and fit better on this roster.
21 home wins same as the Tigers home wins. Espada keeping Framber in the 9th is his best move this year. A different hero every game, team chemistry A+.
Looks like Diaz has an OPS of .829 in the month of May. Also batting .295 for the month. he can be frustrating but he has had a good May. Let’s just hope he keeps it up.
I disagree with this point on 2 different fronts. 1) I think Dezenzo absolutely has an 850 OPS ceiling. Now, he also has quite a low floor and may never even hit .750 over a full season. That's part of being a high K prospect/rookie. 2) As you know, I don't think 2025 Chas has an 842 ceiling. I think its closer to 750. In my opinion, 2023 Chas is long gone. It's the same as 2017 Altuve being long gone. But if both were able to be 800+ that would be huge for this Astros team.
