I know I have seen that as an out before but I guess it was prior to 2016 when they changed the rule that laces don't count anymore.
If only Crane liked him as much as he liked JV… and those 2 or 3 year 40 million/year extension deals get secured during the season… and also if only there wasn’t going to be some team out there that will likely give him a 6-8 year guaranteed deal (but probably not before the CBA goes kablooey?)
Yainers expected numbers have looked way better than results all season. Water usually finds it's level with enough PA.
You know he had his bullshit already typed out and was waiting to pounce on that button as soon as Diaz got out. But then he had to delete it and go fukc his sister while he cried it out
I really don’t think he will get a 6-8 year deal based on what I have heard. He is very underrated though and I hope the Astros resign him… Verlander was signing 1 year deals, that is a big part of why he was getting the money from Crane. Verlander was worth every penny the Astros paid him, even with the injuries.
He had a horrendous start to the season. It kind of got lost with Walker and Yordan and Altuve struggling. Diaz has been trending up for some time though and it’s possible by the second half he has good numbers.
There are some adjustments that can be made in approach, and even his mechanics to off set this. He has always been a flawed, low average hitter.
cal raleigh just ended any possibilities of a comeback by the twins. dude is on a tear. april it was polanco. may is cal raleigh. mariners just have guys step up different months.
Glad we got the win. Nice job by Framber. Need more from the bats. Been saying that for a long time though.
