Unless you show that the players knew the crowd weren’t making monkey noises at them and deliberately said otherwise, there is no “hoax” here. At most, you could accuse the players of being overly sensitive and appearing to misconstrue the booing/heckling as something racial.

I think there are racists in every nationality around the world, and some parents won't even allow their kids to marry outside their own race. True, and you could also say that there are plenty of black people too terrified to speak up against racist verbal or physical attacks, for fear of retaliation.
