I don't get counting the Pacers out if they finish off the Knicks as they should.

Their offense is really good, the switch everything and zones don't really affect them or slow them down, saw that in the regular season against us. Pascal is a super versatile big and they have shooters all over the place. Should be a fun series.

 

Shai get's the worst end of this deal because he earned the right to be here, but he'll be put on the floor in the Finals with no real rival on the other side. It reminds me of the time many of us had to root for the Knicks to make the final in 93 because if that didn't happen, it would have been Olajuwon vs. Smits, when it really needed to be Olajuwon vs Ewing on the marquee in order for Hakeem to command the respect of the league and get eyeballs on the matchup. It all worked out. Than you basketball gods. He got the New York media and the matchup the world needed to see. Shai is not going to get that.

This series was almost as bad as our series tbh. Huge let down for a conference finals. Thankfully the Knicks/Pacers is pure fire. I just hope the Pacers give OKC some kind of resistance because another series like this one might be a waste.

 

The West gave us some good basketball. Denver LAC, Denver OKC, Minnesota LAL, even Houston GSW... It would have been nice to see the Rockets advance and see a healthy Curry lose to Edwards, oh well.

People talking about Durant to Minnesota.. they'd be better off with the same core of Edwards, McDaniels, and Randall, a PG upgrade, and Edwards taking another step. It's tough though because he's so young and everyone expects them to get to the Finals. Them and Denver are kinda stuck because they invested too much cap room on mid players.

OKC's talent is ridiculous. It's going to take some equally ridiculous leap from Haliburton and coaching master class from serious Jim Carey for the Pacers to stand a chance.

The T-Wolves definitely need a big PG upgrade, but in order to become a championship contender, they also need a secondary scorer to support Ant.

 

Reminds me of Cam Whitmore the first 10 games of the season.
