That's not the first, and certainly won't be the last this time around. He's getting more and more brazenly corrupt, with his loyalists running the FBI and Attorney General's office

@Nook if the President is allowed to openly sell pardons to the highest bidder than what even matters anymore? Seriously

At this point it is a question of whether he will leave in 3 years or not.

I am losing track of how many tax evaders, fraudsters and cons Trump has pardoned since taking office. He loves white collar criminals who grift and stiff others, and live a lavish lifestyle just like he does.

Trump to Pardon Reality-Show Couple Convicted of $36 Million Fraud

President Trump will fully pardon the reality television stars Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were convicted three years ago of evading taxes and defrauding banks of more than $30 million to support their luxurious lifestyle.

The Chrisleys soared to fame about a decade ago in the USA Network hit “Chrisley Knows Best” as self-made, God-fearing real estate moguls who lived in a 30,000-square-foot mansion outside Atlanta. But according to prosecutors, their empire was “based on the lie that their wealth came from dedication and hard work” and they were “career swindlers who have made a living by jumping from one fraud scheme to another, lying to banks, stiffing vendors and evading taxes at every corner.”

The Trump Presidency’s World-Historical Heist - The Atlantic

In his first term, he made improper millions. In his second term, he is reaching for billions: a $2 billion investment by a United Arab Emirates state-owned enterprise in the Binance crypto exchange using the Trump family’s stablecoin asset. An unknown number of billions placed by Qatar in a Trump-family real-estate development in that emirate, topped by the gift of a 747 luxury jet for the president’s personal use in office and afterward. Government-approved support for a Trump golf course in Vietnam while its leaders were negotiating with the United States for relief from Trump tariffs. Last week, Trump hosted more than 200 purchasers of his meme coin, many of them apparently foreign nationals, for a private dinner, with no disclosure of the names of those who had paid into his pocket for access to the president’s time and favor.

I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know, but we had our chance (2 chances!) when Trump was impeached in his first term. The moral courage to convict failed us in the Senate and this is the consequence. We failed again when we voted for him in the 2024 election despite his obvious corruption. How can we possibly hold him accountable now after failing so spectacularly earlier? House Democrats are probably happy to not be in a position to be able to bring another impeachment because they fear doing so will make them even less popular than they already are, as messed up as that is. For whatever reason, we seem to want corruption and abuse of power.

....house democrats would not be less popular if they exposed his corruption. The American public wants to see a fighter and not the chickenshit democrats backing down from every challenge. The public WANTS house democrats to do their damn job

The scary part is the blatant pardons and clemency of MAGA criminals, and abusing the powers of the system to release criminals loyal to Trump. He just granted clemency to another 25 criminals today. Trump's AG Pam Bondi and his chief pardon attorney Ed Martin are full onboard releasing MAGA criminals from prison, regardless of their crimes. Martin posted Monday on X “No MAGA left behind,” which tells me they aren't about law and order or putting criminals away. They are about loyalty to Trump above all else.

Alot of them are at a point when they realize their edge is long over with the all the tech advances and access to info

So it's all about corruption, collusion, connections and using their existing wealth to get their first

Always been a way of the world

Still, Americans get that it's a price to pay for all the common sense changes from the terrible Biden years

    stop projecting your willful stupidity

Trump 1.0 netted a loss of 2 million jobs in his 4 year; Biden gained 16 millions jobs in his 4 years.

GDP grew more under the biden year, highe 2% vs. Trump 1.0's low 2%

Trump 1.0 campaigned for an infrsttructure bill, but failed to do so. Biden signed the infrastructure bill

Really, I think Trump is pretty much solely interested in making/siphoning money from this presidency. Even the tariffs seem to be a way to put a squeeze on countries and get them to come to the negotiations table, so that his sons can swoop in and land sweet side deals. It worked on the Saudis, and now he'll look for his next target by announcing another round of tariffs.

He shows little interest on issues in which he does not see a potential for profit or revenge. Then, he seems to either improvise or make empty gestures, or allow himself to satisfy the agendas of his allies.

The Atlantic is right. This is a world-historical heist.

Who really believes this is God's mission, and what God is Trump referring to?

The devil in disguise God of Grift?

He posted this on Trump Social.

That old lying narcissist is a con and fraud, and his projection of himself as someone on God's mission is disgusting.

@Nook @deb4rockets "the Emirates are taking a 2 billion dollar investment into binance entirely in a stable coin launched by the Trump team"

LOL the corruption at this point is just hilarious.
