    Great Choice Kagy!

I guess mine, right now, would have to be Dave Matthews Band-Listener Supported.

My favorite group, with live tracks of songs from all their CDs, plus a great cover of Johnny Cash's "Long Black Veil".

That, or if I knew I was going to be stranded with only one CD, I'd burn a CD with all my favorite songs. [IMG]

Oh, I agree absolutely. If there's one thing I never get tired of, it's my self-delusional attempts at songwriting and recording. [IMG] Frankly I think I'd rather have my guitar than any recorded music. But then, I have always had a tendency towards self-absorption.

Anyway, while I could come up with a long list of CDs I'd want to take, I wouldn't mind being stuck with one of the demo CDs of Jeff's that I've heard. I'm telling y'all right now, you are gonna love one thing in particular that he's written when you hear it.

Can't say anymore. It might be s'posed to be a big surprise.

This question is HARD! I would have to bring either 2Pac's Greatest Hits or DMX ...And then there was X.
Both of those Cd's are great.

I'm sure your favorite CD will quickly become your least favorite if you were forced to listen to it over and over and over... then again, maybe not.

But anyway, I'm surprised no one's mentioned the biggest selling album of all time in the US. I thought some of the folks in here would at least mention it, but guess I thought wrong.

(can anyone guess what it is?)

As for me, I can't pick just one. I'd have to burn a CD with my favorite songs... I know this may be cheating, but hey. It would contain all kinds of artists : Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Marvin Gaye, Don Henley, Tupac, Enigma, etc., etc.

I wasn't going to say this, cause I assumed you didn't really expect any cc.netter to choose this album...

But why does everyone forget Michael Jackson

apparently, the eagles and thriller swap places often.

The Eagles Greatest Hits passed Thriller in US sales in December 1999. It still is the best selling album in the US. Thriller may be the best selling album worldwide, however, with over 52 million in sales.

Nobody's forgetting Michael. He's supposedly coming out with a much-delayed album sometime this year that includes duets with Boys II Men, R. Kelly, Will Smith, Puff Daddy & Mase, Sisqo, Lauren Hill, and collaborations with Babyface. Seemed like a who's who of contemporary hip-hop and R&B from what I remember reading. Still waiting to see what the heck this'll sound like.

Mine would have to be the import version of Shaq-Fu - Da Return by Shaquille O'neal. On vinyl, of course.

On a slightly more serious note, CK, that's terrible, man. I don't know what I'd do if that happened to me (let's just say I have a few more CDs than you [IMG]) Keep a record of every CD you own, and take pictures of them, for insurance purposes.

I would have to go with the "Hey! Album" by the Marvelous 3 for my choice.
