With Lebron and Luka, last thing the lakers needs is another ball dominant player

Has nothing to do with need, it's a free signing basically. He'll just replace Vincent in the rotation.

Chris Paul doesn’t want anything to do with the Rockets. Remember last time he was here? The man embraced himself badly. Not the hamstring but after he got paid. We didn’t pay all the pick for Westbrook but to dump Paul. It was sad to watch for those how have a memory.

Does CP3 still own the home he bought here?

CP3 is one guy the Rockets should target, seems like the Spurs are going to part ways with him. He played all 82 games last year at age 39 which is impressive, I think he would be able to contribute more than a few of the end of bench guys we have now that don't play much. I think he actually would help Reed and Amen develop a lot more than FVV. Signing him would not impact anything they decide to do w FVV either. Not sure what the plans are for Jeff Green, but if he is gone I think CP3 would fill the role of an OG vet that can actually be on the floor in important moments.

He may not have liked the way things ended in Houston, but we know it was Harden that pushed him out the door, and he and Harden are cool and hang out off the court even, so I think everyone has moved past it. If he still is upset w anyone, it is likely Daryl Morey.

Harden was the one who said "I know what we need to do" after being eliminated and was already talking to Russ in the background, it seemed like Harden wanted a change, Westbrook's name came up and Patrick and Tilman liked the idea. I don't think Tilman would take any more blame than Harden or Morey. CP3 called out Harden indirectly, and Morey directly after the trade. I have not seen him say anything on Tilman, but he may group Tilman and DM together. Either way at 39 years old and no ring, money will talk because any year could be his last.

CP3 would be the perfect teacher for Reed and Amen and even JG … ball control, drawing fouls, midrange game ….

I like how you say so confidentially it was Harden.

But than also say 'it seemed like Harden'

When it's an actual fact Tilman is on record as saying the deal was his doing.

But at least you haven't seen him say anything on Tilman, you're right then I guess.

39 years and no ring, and you think he sees one with Houston? Lol.

...if we can create a time machine - I'm all in. Seriously - prime CP3 is exactly what this team needs. 39yr old CP3 is quite the opposite though.

I hope he retires soon and this kind of talk goes to another player.....

The winning a ring is not dramatic, he can join OKC as an assistant coach.....or janitor.

He would get one one day.

If he can be a Holiday replacement that would be a huge upgrade

Thinking of CP3 not getting a ring after all these years is sad. He's the kind of player that actually wants to win and is not just in it for that money.

Giannis is leaving because he wants to win, and it is well reported Houston is at the top of that list. KD wants to win and it was rumored Houston is at the top of that list. When Jimmy wanted out of Miami to win, Houston was on his list. It would not be unreasonable to assume CP3 would see Houston as a chance to win as well.

I must've missed the times Giannis, KD and Jimmy were traded from Houston with a disgusting taste in their mouth.

I can see him going into coaching a few years after retirement once his kids are a bit older/off to college, he seems tied to the NBA and gives real guidance in his camps. i don't see him as a FVV or super star place holder on the team. I'd see him taking minutes from Holiday or Cam if he is traded.

Younger Chris Paul Yes. Older Chris Paul just look elsewhere.

Reed Sheppard needs to step up this off-season in his Basketball Drills, Counter Moves especially and needs a Floater, Side Step Counter Moves.

Anthony Edwards Coaches are the Best.

    prime CP3 would cost you $50mil., 39yr old CP3 probably under $5mil.
