    I think he'll opt in and try again next year with the Lakers. After that he'll sign with the Cavs for minimum and do the farewell tour then.

    He'll probably play less than 1/3 or the regular season games. If Luka is injured for a stretch and the Lakers aren't doing well, he might play even less and let them tank the season.

    They don't have the outright rights to their 2026 pick. Dallas got swap rights in the Luke trade. Oh wait, Dallas has an idiot for a GM, and the Lakers only had to give up AD, Christie, and a pick. Granted, Dallas is the 2nd luckiest team in Texas right now regarding the NBA lottery.
