Saw it the other day. What it makes you realize is that Pee-Wee Herman is the greatest modern character ever invented and it is not close at all. What other character had an HBO special, a 5-season TV show, 3 movies, a Broadway play, a Christmas special, hosted SNL, sold out live venues, appeared on three covers of Rolling Stone and countless other magazines, was a regular talk show guest, and has a Hollywood star? Just remarkable.
