Poor kid. If he had made that last shot they were going to let him leave the garage for a few mins and see what the sky looks like. Better keep practicing.
This kid was on PTI awhile ago, I think he's already gotten endorsements from Reebok, hence the gear.
That's the kid that all those shots and got on a tv show and then Reebok signed him to a sponsership deal at that early age....i remember this from about 8 months ago or so. I coudn't believe it when i heard reebok started to sponser the kid.
I hope he doesn't tear his MCL in a middle school game and end his career before he gets to go pro at 16
Eh... i'm not impressed. He has terrible form. Also, how 'bout shooting on a regulation hoop? Huh? Thats what i thought. What a fraud.
What a cute kid! And he's hella better than I am... BTW this link is kinda interesting... [IMAGERY] Dark City vs. Matrix
I didn't get the memo that we're using brackets on links, if that's the case I'll start. Funny link by the way.
Unless there is some rule that states while he is playing for a highschool or college team he can't get endorsments...because at the moment he is not on a team or anything....have no idea the implications of it.
Probably doesn't matter. I'd bet his dad already has him figured to go in the first round of the draft.
soft backboard helped the kid out quite a bit...and lets face it...Yao would have his way swatting most of this s*** outta the way.
Yeah - the kid didn't demonstrate any quickness or speed and he obviously doesn't work out. His form is pretty aweful and almost all of his shots were from within 6 feet with no defenders on him. The goal isn't regulation, and he didn't show any ability to dribble. And we don't know how his transitional defense is, or how he handles a fast break. For all we know, he could be very prone to turnovers, and he's obviously a ball hog. No demonstration of self discipline or a team mentality. I'd say he'd get picked in the 3rd round.
