Does SGA look like R. Kelly?

I'm just now turning this on and see that he only has 1 foul and 19 min played... how only 2 shots?!?

That 1st half was some high-level basketball. If think both teams brought their "A" games on both ends of the court. On 2-3 occasions, OKC came close to breaking it open but the T-Wolves weren't about to let them do it.

I know people here hate them but SGA and J-Dub were close to spectacular, particularly SGA. Chet was a very worthy 3rd fiddle. Kenrich Williams and Isaiah Joe were found money.

The T-Wolves top dogs were strangled. You can't blame Ant because OKC was sold out on stopping him. Randle is turnover prone both when he dribbles AND after he picks up his dribble. But their bench trio (+1) went nuclear.

I guess this is what you get when OKC's A-game meets the T-Wolves' A-game.

If the T-Wolves continue their bench advantage in the 2nd half, they have a very good shot at winning. IMO, OKC can't clamp down on Ant for 48 mins. I think he breaks out for ~20 points in the 2nd half.

OKC is putting in a Rockets-like effort in dominating both TO and offensive rebound differential (+6 each), but Minny's shooting and FT advantage have overcome that.

If Randle was more Athletic/Fluid and able to play Tall, then he would be able to accomplish more things off the ball on Offense.

Randle's problem is he craters when teams attack his dribble and he's a very dumb passer under duress. In other words, tailor-made to fail against OKC's defense.

Felt like OKC has had this in control the whole game to this point, even though TWolves tied it up at some point

I was talking about overall FG% at halftime. It was an 8-9 point gap.

I would have to think about it, but maybe there aren't that many players in the league that play like Randle which helps him during the regular season because teams aren't scheming too much for his style of play.

In the Playoffs, opposing teams are able to devote the time and attention to scheme for him and he lacks good counters when they prevent him from doing what he wants to do.

Ant with just 10 points on 7 shots

this would be a really bad loss for OKC

    Dort flops on a screen
A about to be a 3 pt game is now 8

    SGA is a foul merchant
    But
Dort and Caruso are foul shoppers

Caruso is getting away with murder and has only one foul. He keeps grabbing and pushing.

Defensive flops by OKC are worse than the offensive ones
