Batted ball- on the runner to avoid Thrown ball - on the thrower to avoid (unless it's deemed the runner ran wildly out of their lane) If Dubon hits the runner it would have been an error and a live ball.
I believe It’s an ump judgement call. He’d could call an out or award the base depending if he thinks it’s interference or obstruction.
If a throw hits a runner while a runner is in the baseline...you are ****ed. 1 base after the runner you hit, and 1 base for the batter behind him.
Love the spirit, but as we always say when we see other teams (normally the Rangers) get comeback and 1-run wins repeatedly ... it's an unsustainable way to live. I'm thrilled that the Stros won the series, but I'm waiting for a nice 8-2 win. Hopefully Walker and Altuve are breaking out. If they are, and Pena/Jake keep their level, and Yordan comes back, this could be a special team. Last year after the bad start, we were the best team in the AL for more than half the year. I do think the same thing can happen again, and from a better starting point.
I love this pen so much. Guys like King, Ort, and Okert are not flashy at all and most fans probably don't even know who they are but they just ****ing grind day in and day out. About as dependable as relievers get without being super studs who strike everyone out. They remind me of Will Harris.
Double Pale Ale - 8.5% … excellent session beer. Three Floyd’s is probably the best brewery in the country. Certainly in the top 5-10.
Making up for the Oswalt/Berkman years. We dominated them, if Berkman played his whole career there he may have been a first ballet HoF.
Relief pitchers are so weird...outside of the studs you never know what you'll get year-to-year. Taylor Scott was nails last season, for example.
Thanks. I'll see if it's available in my area of Tennessee. This may be the most important post of the day!
Nice to see Walker have his moment. Boy he has struggled. If he can get to where he needs to be and if we ever can get Yordan back then I feel very confident about this team. Help us Yordan… you’re our only hope.
