The disturbed weather near Florida is expected to eventually make Landfall in Louisiana between the Mouth of the Mississippi and the Texas Border. So far, it is expected to be more of a Tropical Storm rather than become a Hurricane. So a rain event rather than a wind event for Lafayette and other parts of Louisiana.
