Thought this was hilarious... friend of mine came in to work today saying they were talking about this website on the Howard Stern show. It's called JumpTheShark.com... They tally votes on some of the most popular TV shows on exactly at what point they "peaked"... The term "Jump the Shark" comes from "Happy Days" as the guy who runs the site and his friends always felt Happy Days reached it's peak (or ran out of material) when Fonzie jumped the shark on his motorcycle. Worth checking out -- I was busting up on some of the examples (moment when Beverly Hills 90210 jumped the shark -- one person voted for "when Tori Spelling was conceived") ------------------ NOTHING BUT .NET CLUTCHCITY.NET
They should include the entire MTV network! I'd say they "Jumped the Shark" when they refrained from playing music videos and began playing Real World and Road Rules reruns! MTV just plain sucks! ------------------ We need some meat in the post!
couldnt agree with u more pimpdaddy. like i care what the hell six people are doing in their rv's or their houses or whatever the hell they are doing. ------------------ Now introducing the starting lineup for your Houston Rockets: Starting at Center from Wake Forest - TIM DUNCAN
Thanx for the link Clutch, very interesting site. Also very funny, even a lot of them knock some of the shows I grew up with and still enjoy Man, is there any show they don't have here? Azim da Dream
