I'm simply expressing my impression of what I think the Astros are doing. Not what I want or hope.

And I agree that Chas isn't the problem. He just hasn't been able to be the answer.

99% of the time an Astro would have just watched it go by

Why the F would you use him in a late-inning winnable game in his first outing back?

It's time for a Shake up.

If Whitley is healthy, I still think he can get a good contributor. I'm not worried about 1 pitchbor even 1 inning in his first game back.

But Espada's lineups and pitching change decisions are getting very old.

And having 6 AAAA guys and 4 other serious under achievers on the position player roster is also getting really old.

How does a manager in a late game 1 run deficit allow a pitcher to walk that many batters before FINALLY pulling him?

I thought Espada was a great hire.

and for the first time in my entire life I was completely wrong.

Abreu and Hader needed their rest for today. Only to not be used for a pitcher who hasn't pitched in MLB since April 21st.

It's over. Nice flight home. Losing with your ace.

At least Yordan, Abreu and Hader got their rest.

I've never been over a player more than I am of Forrest Whitley. He is the perpetual dark cloud of misery.

Yeah and they have given him 38 at bats to “be the answer”. What else could one ask for? Fair assessment lol.

Can’t sustain any good run and too many injuries to the pitching staff now. This weak offense cannot make up for all the AAA pitching.
