    It does not.
Valuable is "Good contributor. Good compliment".
Invaluable is "Extra valuable. Even risk of tanking without them".

Depends on roster construction too. Some teams have multiple valuables & invaluables & can withstand a loss of 1. Some teams are only "1 valuable away" from liftoff. Some like Draymond Greem turn invaluable with the Curry invaluable added, but is barely valuable without Curry, so its a "What IS Draymond's value exactly?" lol.

But we know MVP level is invaluable (Jokic). And valuable is good complement in right fit (Aaron Gordon)

Since CP3 and Reed are friends, maybe we package FVV in a sign and trade then sign Chris Paul on a vet min deal and have him backup / coach Reed and throw Reed in the deep end as a starter.

Incorrect Ime Udoka played him as a SG, which is not his position.

He is a PG, Ime Udoka wasted his season.

Should've played more minutes in the beginning of the season or sent to RGV early in the Season. Get 35 minutes, put up numbers. Called up more mentally ready.

Ime Udoka gives up on players, it is really frustrating to support this "Defense" Coach.

Most draft classes are bad. I still like Reed Shepherd but this past season he did not look NBA ready. And like many draftees his ceiling may be a bench journey man.

He looked NBA ready when he was actually allowed to play. Blame Ime for mismanagement

He played 649 minutes last year and only 51 of those minutes was with FVV. Even if you take out the 4 games the Rockets tanked that's still most of his minutes without arguably the team's only true PG on the roster. So if you think he wasn't playing PG during that time, then he was out there in lineups with no PGs. Which honestly is even worse for a rookie's development.

We could sign CP3, trade him plus assets for Westbrook, and then trade Westbrook for John Wall

What I like the most is he went from 27,3% in 3 point % pre all star, to 48,8% post all star, with 8.1 3 point shots per 36 minutes

As soon as the RGV coaches undid the damage Ime caused, he was a advertised.... in the brief times he was allowed to play.

This was my thought if we ended up giving up Fred in a KD trade. Either sign CP3 for the minimum or see if he’s interested in a coaching role/player development role.

And if not the starter then the main backup behind Amen at the one

No, he has an elite skillset that is extremely rare and you keep those people.

His shooting is RARE - keep those that have rare skills jettison those that don't.

Most rookies aren't NBA ready, that's true. But this draft class is particularly bad.

Most draft class's rookie season usually have one or two guys who show star quality, and a couple other sleepers who play surprisingly well. This year has none of those. (McCain would have been the surprised sleeper this year. Too bad he got injured.) Castle won the ROY and he wasn't even a full-time starter on a lottery team.

Reed is still an unknown because he played so little on a team full of young guys to develop.

It’s kinda crazy that has to be cleared on a fan forum right? lol…

The expectation on this kid is pretty wild. And I guess NBA fanaticism absolutely refuses to include context or perspective? Just let the loudest drive conversations off every cliff/thread every time…

He’s got some work to do this offseason. With almost anyone you’d say shooting but for Reed it’s really hit the weights, work on the handle. The group is familiar with him now, that has to be an easier transition than just walking in the door and everyone expecting you to hit 53% from 3 or whatever the number was.

The blame game has to eat, I suppose, it’s kind of funny to read the “it’s Ime’s fault he wouldn’t shoot” takes. Yeah it’s Ime’s fault we won 50+ and got the 2nd seed. The nerve!
