Edwards: ZERO

# of playoff games scoring more than 30 points:
Green: 1
Edwards: 13

# of playoff games scoring above their career scoring average
Green: 1
Edwards: 21

This means in a 7 game series, expect Edwards to score above his career average around 3 times. Around 30ppg twice. And around his career average the others, maybe 1 game around 15-18ppg. Green, 85% games well below career average, over half are SINGLE digit scoring games

I'm not really a big Edwards fan. But is this a serious question? Even if it removes the "7 times more games" ratio, Edwards just destroys Green in expected quality playoff games.

 

Enough with these dumbass threads. Anyone with any sense knows Jalen can't even scratch Ant's jock and never will. Can Jalen at some point be a productive player? Sure, there's always a chance. But he will never be the caliber of player Ant is currently and there's no discussion to be had.

Ant’s game 1 was better than anything Jalen gave us against GS aside from game 2…

matter of fact, if Jalen gave us 18 points, we likely win that series…but he couldn’t even manage that

Come on now, you know there is no comparison. If Jalen did half of what Ant does on both ends, we would have beat the Warriors easily.

The point is mute - people who hate JG will hang their hats on the GS series

JG didn’t shoot well with the opportunities he got

Ime didn’t help him any either - not with getting open or the gameplan to get ball into paint once he was blitzed or doubled … you take away a lot of the aggression of your player, then panic benching him for more defense doesn’t help confidence

Finch and Ant run a different style offense and Ant has the ultimate greenlight, and even with some awful TOs he knows he’s not being benched

Finch and Ant both also are not stubborn and acknowledge that gameplan has to adjust game to game - listen to both Finch and Ant post game comments - where as Ime is “ we will do what we did to get here, we need to defend harder and make FTs”

Today’s society people don’t want to be patient, a lot also see numbers and don’t consider fit and chemistry

I’m fine with keeping JG and Alpi but we need better bigger PG (Amen isn’t a PG) and to move DB to the bench or for a better player (Grimes / Beasley) so we actually have a backup SG

 

literally the only diff in a lot of games is Ant gets a whistle and JG doesn’t … as far as assist - everyone Ant passes too in paint finishes better than Alpi - Naz, Randle, Rudy

 

Hard to avoid it when the only Playoff series was the GS series for 1 entire next season until new Playoffs commence.
