You must have missed when I said that Massie was one of the few Republicans I like, along with Mike Lee and Rand Paul. You can call me a fake libertarian over and over, but it is never going to be true, no matter how much you wish it to be.

No, you're absolutely not a fake. You may be batshit crazy, but at least it's genuine.

Even if defense budget and all discretionary spend was 0 our budget isn't balanced. SS, Medicare, Medicaid, and Interest take up all revenue. Taxes need to go up or we need to greatly lower healthcare costs.

This. Our aging population takes up a huge chunk of federal, state, and local spending. Aside from being less generous for everyone, don’t really have a solution.

Democrats, will you forego the tax cuts that Trump is bringing you and voluntarily pay taxes at higher rates? That would be a patriotic statement!

After reading the CBO talking points, all I can say is HOLY ****................I guess they tried to ram this through before the CBO report. And we only have 5 gop members who didn't vote for this BS. This is a money grab for the 1% while taking money away from the people who need it most..........seriously WTF.

Somehow, unlike the rest of the developed world, we've yet to figure out how to make that work.

Just wanted to tell you three stooges again that if you support this bill you're absolute garbage pieces of crap.

One of you knows exactly what he's doing and is just and evil person. Thats Cuckistador, the third guy is too stupid to realize he's harming people. (raining threes).

And the other guy.....LMAO he's probably both, except just replace Trump with Elon LOL.

Actually that's what Biden gave us. The budget would have been balanced but for his record-breaking spending increases.

This bill cuts taxes by trillions, increases the child tax credit, increases the standard deduction, and removes taxes on tips for workers. The most helpful legislation EVER for putting money in the pockets of the working class. Ever. And this will lead to economic growth which will SHRINK the annual budget deficit.

Trump is the best President ever for the working class. He tamped down inflation, closed the border, is ending wars, and now letting people keep more of their hard-earned money.

Remember this in 4 years when Republicans start blaming everyone but themselves for skyrocketing the deficit, broadening the wealth gap even further, and leave millions more struggling to pay for healthcare or make ends meet, while the top 1% reap in the rewards.

Trump and the super rich, through cronyism and corruption want to ensure that our government works for them, and not for ordinary people.

They want to control the markets, dictate terms, and set prices with impunity, further enriching themselves, legally, and illegally, and won't blink an eye doing it, with Trump's loyalists backing them all the way. Meanwhile, the oil barons, mining companies, and mega factories and power plants will pollute our air, and spew their toxins and chemicals even more, while not batting an eye over the consequences to our environment and the people affected by it all.

WTF are you talking about 60% of every discretionary dollar is spent by the military.

SS is not a tax it is a retirement fund that we all pay into - for our OWN benefit.

Agreed Taxes need to go up, especially on corporations and the rich.......

I don't respond to posters that talked about me the way you did in a previous post. But let's just say I'm happy with the way the economy is headed. Being a socialist you aren't happy and because you're a socialist we will never agree on much of anything.
