Walter should have been pulled. I know wanting to get through the inning, but he hasn't been throwing this many pitches and that is way too many hard hit balls.
I hope that was his last inning. He did a hell of a job. Of course it's now the bottom of the Rays lineup so who the hell knows what Espada will do
Walter has some of the least impressive you will ever see in today's game. However making your pitches still goes a long way towards being effective.
We have the best pitching coaches in the league. We can pretty much trott any no name out there and they would give a quality start or two.
