Then they are stupid. Lonzo is constantly hurt. Jalen is better than everyone on their roster minus Giddy and perhaps Coby White (but not so sure about that). Who are we getting with the 12th pick that is better than Jalen? You guys are ridiculously undervaluing Jalen Green’s trade value. I’m fine with trading him, but not for that poopoo platter.

Huerter shot 38% 7 three's a game in his time as a Bull. He had a poor start with Sacramento but that is the outlier. Hes consistently been an upper 30% 3pt shooter. Last season was Lonzo's first after being injury riddled the prior 2 seasosns. The last season before his injury he shot 40% on 7 attempts a game. I dont think either of those guys are long term pieces but they Rockets sure could have used a floor spacer against the Warriors and this deal also netx pick #12 which I think Stone could use to unearth another role player (Ive given 3 options).

I think you are undervaluing Jalen. I think his value to teams is greater than it is here and there is a marketing angle that comes into play too. He may be more sizzle than steak but there is a lot of sizzle there to sale a fan base.

Agreed, he may not be superstar material just yet but he and Alpi are very much in the star status or at the very least breaching that barrier (in the case of Jalen).

I don't think we're planning on adding anymore picks either way... if anything I seriously doubt we keep the 10th pick unless there's some unmissable prospect that they project to land their. We just have way too much young talent waiting in the wings to take a shot at contributing consistently. Perhaps, even, if it's a center like Maluach... but he gives me too high of Capela vibes and we don't need less floor spacing in our offense to help our already top 3-5 defense.

I agree we are likely to trade the pick, but if we did make a consolidation trade I could see us being willing to add another talented rookie prospect. But of course only if we make a consolidation trade, which we should probably do.

Fleming is the safest bet. 6'9 with an 8 foot wingspan that can guard 2 thru 5 with great help defense and shoots 39% from 3. Stop playing with my name.

I think Medicine N Music advocated for Sengun and Eason prior to the draft.

This is kind of where I am at. I’m not saying that greens value is that at all time high but he had a good year outside of facing an elite defensive team in the playoffs. And our coaching did us no favors.

I still predict Jalen Green to make a couple All-Star games. I’m fine with trading them now in the right deal, but it might be more prudent to wait until February.

If we are keeping the pick and it rolls around and you have a choice between two players you view as of the same caliber/tier, and one is a guard and one is a forward, yeah, absolutely pick the guard. But I definitely don't want them passing on a great player to grab one of these guards who can't shoot.

I think shooting is our biggest deficiency, not a position. So I welcome a player that can fit Udoka's defensive vision while hitting their damn 3's at a respectable clip and I don't care what position they play. We'll figure it out.

Jalen is nowhere near star status. He is closer to being a 6th man than he is being an All Star.

I'm Ok with unloading Jalen as I think he's a negative value on his current contract.

We'd need to make another trade though to bring in a shot creator. Neither Lonzo or Huerter can work as primary shot creators.

I think getting the number 12 pick for Jalen Green would be reasonable value.

I've also been won over on Cedric Coward after looking at his stats and his wingspan. I've not watched a single moment of his highlights but he sounds like a good wing prospect for us.

He would be an MVP candidate if only every 7th game counted.

He was the leading scorer on a 50-win team and was literally almost an Allstar just this past season.
