US is 65ish% of Israel's military imports. The others are, in order: Germany Italy UK/Canada France Spain ...there's a whole lot of parts and equipment that go into making an army and airforce functional. So "oh no" is not totally wrong. I guess they can get some cheap Chinese knockoffs, based on stuff they stole from the US and sold to China a decade or so ago. Because Israel are our Friends!
Or they can get by with whatever the US, Germany, Italy, and Spain provide them. I don't think they are depending on the UK, Canada, and France for military superiority over Hamas, especially given the fact that Israel is a major weapons design/manufacture power in and of itself.
Well, no kidding. It's not like the IAF is running a bunch of French Mirage fighters out there. Everything they have is American, but we don't make all the parts, was my point. They might like to trade with those countries in the future. Using all of the tech they stole from the US (which nobody talks about) and sold for cash to....yeah
I think they are less concerned about trading with those countries than they are about Hamas murdering their citizens. Some of it, yes. Some they developed on their own and shared with/sold to the US. Isreal is a major global weapons designer/manufacturer.
The Brits post WWI really kind of ****ed this all up. So did the French and Dutch in SE Asia. Why did the US let them be in charge of anything? eta: you could have carved out a whole bunch of land for the Jewish people smack dab in the middle of Central Europe. I don't know anything about this Elias Rodriguez dude, except that he's made the world a worse place. If he wanted to help Palestine, he's done the opposite. If he wanted to help US' Free Palestine movement, he's done the opposite.
