"My life expectancy is maybe this summer" — Dilbert's Scott Adams reveals terminal cancer diagnosis

Scott Adams, creator of the "Dilbert" comic strip, revealed he has terminal prostate cancer that has spread to his bones. It's the same disease affecting former president Joe Biden.

During his Rumble show, "Coffee With Scott Adams," Adams shared his prognosis. "I also have prostate cancer that has also spread to my bones, but I've had it longer than he's had it – well, longer than he's admitted having it," he said, as reported by TheWrap. He added that he expects to live "only until this summer."

Adams, 67, explained the disease. While localized prostate cancer is "100% curable," once it spreads beyond the prostate — like in his and Biden's cases — it becomes incurable.

Adams, who has 1.2 million followers on X and is known for his pro-Trump commentary, expressed sympathy for Biden. "I'd like to extend my respect and compassion and sympathy for the ex president and his family, because they're going to be going through an especially tough time," he said.

"So my life expectancy is maybe this summer," Adams told his viewers. "I expect to be checking out from this domain sometime this summer."

Been thinking about this and how to frame it without dipping into D&D territory.

Essentially, it's a shame that people are dying from their immune systems being lowered by constant stress brought on by political polarization. One of my closest friends died of a heart attack at the age of 43 a few years ago. He had gotten sucked deep into politics and it's all he would talk about. That, coupled with an unhealthy lifestyle and a refusal to take vaccines is what I think lead to his untimely demise.

It can be any sort of political slant. It doesn't have to be what Scott Adams believes in. But this fear/hate/anger constantly literally breaks your body down. The science is out there in scads, so I don't need to cite anything.

Dilbert is a hilarious funnies strip that anyone who has worked in a large company can relate to. I hope SA finds peace in death.

I'm sorry for him. 67 is a lot younger than the 80-whatever that Biden is.

I think it is a mixture of life stresses (politics etc) and general body maintenance
He mentioned he had it longer than Biden . . . .I cannot help but think that means they didn't catch it in time
Meaning had he had earlier check ups . .. he might have beat it

Which gets into the Universal Healthcare part of things
    but
It would not matter if people don't use it and go to the Doctor

I may not care for his current politics but I always like the Cartoon
I wish him nothing but peace and wellbeing.

Dilbert guy obviously has resources to go to the doc. Most men are stubborn ‘too tough’ to go. Pride is the deadliest sin.

60 is the age, gentlemen. Get your **** together or it’s a cliff.
