I wouldn't be surprised, but I haven't heard anything about him that stands out. He doesn't do his damage in Houston, just brunch / dinners in river oaks etc.

Harden was drunk & high every game.

Is this a joke? Or is this serious? Where did you hear this? I want to know more, I haven't heard a single person mention this anywhere.

1:40 mark witness on Alperen Sengun being drunk on a flight from Miami to Houston. Clubbing and drinking no doubt.

Alperen Sengun does not take his fitness seriously, getting out of shape mid season breathing heavily. Drinking at bars and eating is a issue.

Straight from BoweryBoi bro. He was on a flight with Sengun once and you won’t believe this, but an NBA player went out and partied while in Miami. Despicable.

I feel this is an overreaction. The Rockets finished in second place in the West after missing the playoffs last year. Green, Sengun, and Amen are all young cores who were getting their first taste of playoffs and were still able to take it to game 7 against proven champions. How can anyone not see this as one hell of an accomplishment? Rockets wanted to rebuild with young talent, and this is how it is done. You fail to see the success in the process.

The very premise of this thread from OP makes zero sense. He rips on Sengun for a bad 4th quarter, but doesn't even acknowledge that he was clearly the Rockets best player in the series or that Green was an absolute train wreck. Also, why has Sengun reached his peak, but Jalen hasn't, despite Sengun actually being younger? The whole take reeks of hypocrisy.

I'm not a Green vs. Sengun guy, and it bothers me when Rockets fans so clearly have homer glasses for one, while inexplicably being critical of the other. You should root for both and look at them both critically. And this might be one of the most egregious examples I've ever seen in the GARM. Sengun is better than Jalen, period. He's been better since Day 1, and that's just an empirical fact. And I truly hope both guys work out and become perennial All-Stars. But if you're going to pick one over the other, I don't know how any sane basketball fan would pick Jalen over Sengun.

Because has never flashed the ability to score in any way but as a post up player. Sengun has not flashed a shooting ability and I've given up on it. He's reached his potential and I don't see how he gets better.

Yes Jalen has been the worst player thus far in their careers, but he's flashed electric ability and... if he ever puts it together... he's a superstar. There's a reason he was picked 2nd overall. As Lou Williams said "it's not a lot of jalen green's out there"

    He has talent.

Saying Sengun can't score "but as a post up player" is a massive disservice to what he does on the offensive end of the floor. He's the superior playmaker and passer to Jalen. He's the superior offensive rebounder and scorer in the paint. If you absolutely need two points, especially in the clutch, he's a much surer bucket right now than Jalen. He also gets to the free throw line more frequently, especially late in games.

Green might be more of a pure three-level scorer. But Sengun is by far the superior overall offensive player, and he's proven to be the better go-to guy in the clutch. If he improves his touch around the rim and can develop a reliable jumper in that 10-12 foot range, he could be a perennial 25/10 guy.

What does this video tell you??

SOFs are OVER VALUING SENGUN. As much as Jackson Gatlin and others hype Sengun, fans around the league does not see him as THAT PLAYER.

If we can get Giannas for Sengun, Tari, Cam or Reed and picks....you do it!

Fans around the league don’t matter.
Actual ball players know Alp is the truth. They know more than fans

    They really don’t though.

Acting like players know more than fans is really flawed.

Look how much they loved Westbrook lmao.

Look at ex player GMs and pundits doing stupid **** all the time.
