Why isn't the community being honest about Caitlin Clark's success?

    Caitlin Clark is relatively exciting to watch and the WNBA is a boring product. Their existing stars like Aja Wilson are incredibly boring. There were white players before Caitlin Clark who were good like Sue Bird but didn't generate much interest. Now, an exciting player comes along, and they're forced to endure a massive amount of racial envy by a community that seems to think they have a monopoly over basketball

    The reason for her success is the same as Stephon Curry's- an exciting to watch player who doesn't tower over everyone. The community wasn't outraged that Tim Duncan didn't sell more Jerseys than kobe... but I feel when you're too fixated on skin color you fail to see the obvious.

    Caitlin shouldn't have to keep apologizing for being an exciting player in an unexciting league. Don't see why people don't just let her do her thing and keep racial envy out of it.

    The WNBA is capitalizing on this and they should. They should tell one of them to throw a punch next time. This league needs to stay relevant and we knows who runs it.

    Not following the WNBA, I assumed this thread would be about her being transsexual or something. But, it's just old-fashioned racial grievance. I appreciate the quaint throwback.

    this is some dumb drama. Clark is way better than Reese but people get mad when some brehs say that.

    RG3 wife is white so Clark went after that for him saying Clark is better

    about the WNBA

    Jealousy is always a part of sports
    Hell . .. for a decade we heard people b**** about Harden getting foul calls
    until they changed the rules for HIM SPECIFICALLY

    I suspect Cait and the WNBA will be fine
    I don't really watch like .. . and suspect most of the dudes complaining don't either

    Caitlin Clark is an exciting player who is also very poised and composed on and off the court. She is high IQ, well-spoken, and mature. She could fit in very nicely in the country club lifestyle -- at a swim meet or golf outing.

    Could this bother Angel Reese because she thinks these things are unattainable for her personally?

    Love the fake narrative they are trying to save Reese with this time.

    Too bad nobody heard any of it, including players and coaches.

    It was cringey and disgraceful watching those “journalists” trying to bait the coach into claiming racism.

    Racist league, racist media covering it.
