Every man over the age of 80 will have prostate cancer if you did a biopsy. Almost all people die with it not because of it. Hope he does well

Its wild though. Democrats have been losing their **** over Trump on everything but yet its a nothing burger over the attempt to re-elect a president with stage 4 cancer. Any of us that have had to deal with such things knows it's not just the person that deals with this. It takes a whole support system to help out.
Appointments
trips to pharmacy
Helping out on the days after any chemo.
Changed meal tolerance
and just being a support system to the effected within the family.

My father in Texas passed 3 months ago from adult Leukemia, blood cancer.
My biggest regret was not being able to assist the family until the very end being in in NY state.
my mother devoting all of her time caring for him she began to physically slide as a result.
She is awesome now.
Sold the ranch in Woodville and is headed to Fort Worth to an independent living village close to her brother.

 

Biden is a pretty decent person. The democrat party is full of shitty grifting rats scurrying around to maintain power at the expense of the country as a whole and some of the dumbest people in the country keep electing them to office.

Not sure you can say that the people voting for Democrats treated this as a nothing-burger; 60-70% of them were telling the party in 2022 that he was too old to run for a second term, and then his vice president received 6.3M fewer votes than Biden while Trump gained only 3M votes from 2020. Assuming every one of those +3M people Trump voters voted for Biden in 2020 still leaves 3.3M voters on the sidelines who, for all of the reasons we've discussed, didn't feel inspired to vote for the status quo. Part of that status quo was an 80-year-old man telling them he wanted to run again in 2024.

You are correct that the party deserves a lot of scorn. But, the man does, too. Unstoppable force, immovable object, etc.

Last week was full of awful press about him in anticipation of Jake Tapper's book coming out tomorrow. I'm not surprised they announced this now in order to squash discussion of his staff planning on him using a ****ing wheelchair if he'd won reelection.
