You're not in a position to hurl insults. You're an obese loser who spends his days on the internet. You're not an adult. You're just a guy they put up with because you pay money. Maybe give that money to a gym, fat boy. Nobody follows you around. Tell you what...loser of the bet is banned permanently. Let your panties drop fat boy
My first encounter with conservative whites was high school and one thing I have always envied about conservative Texans is their love for nature. In high school I didn't understand how being out in nature hunting and fishing makes family bonds stronger
Who'd have guessed a topic about not wanting us gutting National Park workers and funding would draw so much outrage and trolling from Trumpers? From America the Beautiful to gutting park services, drilling on protected lands, clearing out forests, to spewing more toxic waste, burning more coal, and polluting more of our air and water doesn't float everyone's boat.
You missed gutting the EPA, firing inspectors who monitor toxic waste arent being dumped in our waters, shutting down nuclear power plants and replacing them with toxic coal plants, reversing clean energy subsidies and a whole lot more. The long term impacts of Trump’s disastrous agenda won't be realized until decades later. His cultists are beyond gone
youre welcome to start a thread on any topic you want. also, nobody is forcing you to post in this thread and ill point out again that you have not even attempted to discuss the topic. youre just mad that someone posted an article critical of the presidents policies. seems like you are having trouble with your emotions...you might be too sensitive for the D&D. you have been here 1.75 years and have 3,689 posts = 2,108 posts per year i have been here 23 years and have 14,535 posts = 632 posts per year so you average over 3x as many posts as i do, yet you accuse me of not making out of the house much...LOL.
What talking points am I using? What are you talking about ? Also did you ask @raining threes about the wager? Or is he a typical MAGAT that talks smack but backs down like a wuss. I'll throw you 50 bucks for setting up the wager if you can make it happen
He doesn't care. He'll be dead. Selfish mentality and money over everything else is Trump in a nutshell.
Meanwhile, in Texas The Texas Senate passed a bill Thursday that leading business interests fear would lead to an age of expensive power and rolling blackouts. If passed by the House, state S.B. 715 would require all renewable projects — even existing ones — to buy backup power, largely from coal or gas plants. This would require solar plants in particular to buy backup power to “match their output at night — a time when no one expects them to produce energy and when demand is typically at its lowest anyway,” consultant and energy expert Doug Lewin wrote in an April analysis. ... The state business lobby disagrees. A study by the Texas Association of Business (TAB) found that the legislation would cost the state $5.2 billion more per year — and cost individual consumers $225 more. In addition to more expensive power, the TAB study found, Texans would also get a higher risk of blackouts in the heat of summer or in future ice storms. In a state where electric demand is growing rapidly — Texas electric load is projected to nearly double by decade’s end — virtually all new power of the last five years has come from renewables, which take about half the time of gas plants to be added to the grid. The bill follows two prior bills passed by the Texas Senate that target the state’s nation-leading renewables industry. S.B. 388 requires every new megawatt of renewables to be matched by a megawatt of new gas power — effectively throttling the growth of the state electric production in an environment where new gas turbines are in short supply. ... The fate of all three now lies in the Texas House, where pro-renewable voices among the GOP were winnowed amid the Republican primary purges of 2024, when Gov. Greg Abbott (R) targeted rural opponents of school vouchers, and Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) targeted members who had voted to impeach him. As a whole, the legislation cuts against rising support for renewables among Texas Republicans. Recent polling suggests that nearly 80 percent of Texas GOP voters believe that renewables make the Texas electric grid more stable. https://www.kxan.com/energy-crossro...iring-solar-plants-to-provide-power-at-night/ Just another example of the GOP forcing a solution to a nonexistent problem.
I honestly don't know anything about the wager. I don't want money. It's cool. If it's a bet it's a bet
Why in the **** would a wind project have to buy backup power from coal when they have batteries? Jesus christ what a shitty bill. The best think Texas has going for it is the solar boom which counted for close to 30% of all electricity produced in Texas.
1) did you mean "math" instead of "match"? LOL 2) by "all that math" are you referring to basic division that you should have mastered by 3rd grade? LOL and again, you still have yet to have anything to say about the thread topic. youre just upset that someone posted an article that was critical of trumps policies.
We already lead the nation in the worst energy grid in the country. They will only make it worse with their BS.
Who the f-ck are you to decide what is the most important issue or what is important to Deb to post. Particularly where you are among the most disingenuous posters, irrespective of topic. Go lick a power outlet.
youre very adamant on your position that you didnt vote for trump and dont like him, but all you do is get upset when people criticize him. look at yourself in this very thread. you have at least a dozen posts at this point and not a single one has anything to do with the thread topic. youre just upset that someone posted an article criticizing trumps policies.
@raining threes you're good people. Honor whatever b I don't get upset. If you're going to tell me something that I didn't dobof course I'll respond. I get you guys are left leaning. It's cool. I asked you what policies you wanted to talk about.
