Houston Rockets are open to trading Alperen Sengun

I don’t think that’s the case at all, but I think most reasonable fans think that Sengun can be traded for the right return. If we give it another year and he develops a 3 point shot then I wouldn’t trade him for most anybody outside of Jokic, Luka, or Ant.

 

Calm down dude. Bro it is still regarded as 1-1 since there was no double. Sengun was guarded by one player. Two players didn’t at any time converge on him to take away the dribble drive in this video you showed. They simply played off their man to help the defender and take away driving lanes similar to a zone. This is simply the Warriors playing a man quasi zone scheme. But it certainly isn’t a double team or trap/blitz or hedging as you wrote.

I said nothing about Draymond. I am simply responding to what you wrote which was inaccurate. You are confusing one on one man defense with players sagging as a double team. If this is the case then there’s no such thing as one on one defense since most teams play off their man from the wings or corner to help the primary defender. This is why the NBA changed its rules to allow zone because everyone was playing a quasi zone scheme anyway.

yep they see no flaw with Sengun. Another great example was in the reg season late in the 4th where Sengun made that stupid unnecessary behind the back pass that resulted in a TO in a critical situation. That was absolutely unacceptable to do this in a critical situation yet Sengun only fans brushed it under the rug simply saying “everyone makes mistakes”. Not in a critical situation late in the 4th they don’t. Plenty other examples yet he is still regarded as “high IQ”. I’m all about calling a spade a spade and if we do it to some players then it needs to be done to all players.

Seems odd that the posters dislike each other's players so much but Jalen himself always respected Alperen Sengün.

They rarely doubled Sengun from what I saw. They certainly didn’t double him immediately to take away the drive. They didn’t trap him. Rockets didn’t run 51 screen using a PG so he certainly wasn’t blitzed or hedged. Only few instances they doubled him was with a delayed double as he makes his spin move in the post or goes up to score. That’s where Heild and those guys collapsed to take away the shot or strip the ball.

You cannot sit there and write a post about respect when much of the agitation and emotionally charged negative responses are from these Sengun fans who mostly see few or no flaws in his game.

 

Player only fans are an issue.
I want all our young guys to succeed. But there is also a very clear pecking order right now.

 

Please stop with the mischaracterization. I have gone on record to say neither of these guys are great and both have a long way to go before becoming elite players. Both flawed both make bad reads and bad decisions consistently. This is why this team isn’t better. If both reached their stride it would be a different story.

I’d recommend talking to a specialist - maybe there’s a pill for that. In the meantime I have some news for you: it’s not that people don’t have answers for you, you aren’t smart, you don’t provide some elite analyses - you are just exhausting and unimportant and are unworthy of people’s time.
