Altuve can dh when it’s a ground ball pitcher and play 2B when it’s a fly ball pitcher. Until Yordan comes back in August. Of 2026.

    Exactly. It's not that difficult.

If Alvarez misses too much time none of it matters.

If Yordan is actually Mr Glass, which he seems to be, we're kind of ****ed

I don’t think we need an if on that sentence. If some other guys got it together he could play 120 games and it would be fine, as long as it’s the right 120 and he’s healthy and locked in for the playoffs.

A guy that's too hurt to DH more than....

It seems like every week or so he's got a little problem. He needs to grow up.

The best DH in the AL only playing 120 games is a very strange and terrible thing

It’s why we got him to sign the cheap extension. He knows this about himself.

For all the talk of our SP depth

If you take out Hunter and Framber, our SP era is over 5

Altuve wanted Bregman to stay so bad. He should have given some money back to make it happen.

Sad to see Altuve now when at the plate and on the bases. He used to be able to be on top of any crazy pitch and put it into play somehow. Now it seem like if you don't put it in his wheelhouse he's an uninspiring out.

His decision making running the bases is.....bad. He thinks he's as speedy as he used to be. Dude keeps getting gunned down

Altuve used to be such a positive spark on the team with his bat and multi hit games, and speeding around the bases. That vibe just isn't there anymore.

That's depressing. Sometimes I wonder if we need better hitting coaches. Alvarez has really been my biggest disappointment this year.

He was never good running the bases. A lot of his mistakes just happened to work out. His bat is the concern.

New hitting coaches won't make a AAA lineup start to hit.
